'The Bat' as it is affectionately known is where Gravesend Cricket grew and still grows with an experienced adult section and an exciting Colts section. Gravesend runs a number of league and friendly sides to suit all standards. On a  Saturday the 1st XI and 2nd XI play in the Kent Cricket League. The 3rd and 4th XI are development sides with a strong focus on youth development playing in the Kent Regional League. Finally the Shrimper's XI is a friendly side wandering the length and breadth of Kent and sometimes further afield.
